Profile

Callum Rosser

Callum is an organic chemist and chemical biologist working with AMTAR Deputy Director Prof Rachel Codd in the Chemical Biology in Drug Discovery group at the University of Sydney. He has a strong interest in the development of new radiopharmaceutical agents, synthetic organic chemistry, and biological inorganic chemistry.

Callum’s research focuses on using a non-ribosomal peptide synthetase for the chemoenzymatic assembly of biocombinatorial libraries of relevant hydroxamate chelators. He is currently probing for metal selectivity to identify chelators with an added chemical handle suitable for conjugation into an PET imaging agent.
