James Wood

Dr James Wood is a member of the Thurecht Imaging Group at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanoscience. James completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine within the Chemical Biology in Drug Design Laboratory at the University of Sydney with Prof Rachel Codd. James’ research focuses on the development of novel ligands for radiopharmaceuticals, with a focus on multimodal approaches to oncological treatments. James will be working  to identify and assess novel targets for existing radiopharmaceutical technologies, including involvement in the development of theranostic approaches as new treatments for various cancers.
